Q4 2023 Performance of Top Dining Apps in Latin America on Android

As 2023 comes to a close, we've seen the dining and restaurant application landscape continue to engage users across Latin America on Android devices. Data collected by Sensor Tower sheds light on the performance of the top apps in this category.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery maintained a strong user base with weekly active users peaking at 4M in mid-November, although there was a slight dip to 3.2M by the end of December. Downloads showed an upward trend through October and November, reaching over 360K, before settling at around 200K towards the year's end.

Burger King Brasil also experienced fluctuations in user engagement with an impressive peak of over 650K weekly active users in mid-November. The app's downloads mirrored this trend, with a noteworthy increase to over 70K in the final week of December.

The KFC APP - Ec, Co, Cl, Ar y Ve saw its weekly active users grow steadily throughout the quarter, finishing with a strong 350K active users. Downloads for KFC's app surged in late December, hitting nearly 50K.

Domino's Pizza México witnessed a similar pattern, with weekly active users reaching over 145K by the end of December. The app's download figures also showed an increase, concluding the quarter with over 34K downloads.

Lastly, Habib's app downloads saw a significant jump to over 34K in the last week of December, while the active users showed consistent growth, ending the quarter at over 129K.

While revenue data for these applications indicated no direct earnings from the apps themselves, the consistent engagement and download trends suggest that the dining and restaurant category remains a significant part of the digital ecosystem in Latin America.
